the east bank of the Ba River, at the western
foot of Li-shan of Qianling.
Apart from the different scenes of a
metropolitan lifestyle depicted in the wall
paintings, many tomb pottery sculptures of
horses and figurines were found in her tomb.

All the pottery sculptures vividly reflect the
positions of the occupant and show court
etiquette, dressing styles, and life patterns
of the time. Above all, the abundant
materials found at Princess JinXiang’s
burial site are a summary of what Tang people
regard as the “good life” – sufficiency,
hunting, and living in harmony with people of
different races and social positions.
