A small table with recessed legs and everted flanges.

This table has a solid top with flanges. The aporn, spandrels and frames of the panel legs are carved to simulate bamboo. The legs are inserted to the apron using elongated bridal joints. The leg panels are decorated with open carvings of flowers and birds. The panel legs stand on a base that is cusped in the middle creating fluent curves that break the angularity of the straight lines projected by the spandrels and table top.
