This beautiful painted red pottery figure represents an elegant noble lady of the Tang Dynasty.

This figure has excellent colors. Both sleeve bands are painted with gold leaf. There are fine and delicate floral patterns on her robe. Her hair style is impressive with two large buns on the top. Her movement is exceptionally graceful, characteristic of noble ladies made in the Fung Cheung region.
