A table with recessed legs.

This table has mitred frame and stone top. The edges of table top frame are moulded with bearing on the low edges. the round legs are recessed and joint to top using inserted shoulder joints. The aprons and spandrels are simple without any carved decorations. Double stretchers are used on all sides. A humpback stretchers is placed under both the front and back aprons suggesting the table might have been built to carry heavy items.
