5th August 2014 Liang Yi Museum Talk | Oi Ling Chiang, founder of Oi Ling Antiques gallery,will be joining Liang Yi Talks this August to reveal the story behind "The King of the Fanglei", an imposing bronze from the Shang Dynasty (1600-1000BC). Museum. 70 years later, the body was rediscovered in Japan. Negotiations were conducted to reunite the two but fell through and the body alone was auctioned by Christie's in 2001. This past March, the body of the Fanglei came up for auction again, reigniting the argument and debate on how to reunite the two halves again.
