Emperor of the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD), was an extremely influential and significant character.
The history of the Li family goes back to the 4th century when Tuoba Wei unified Northern China and established the Northern Wei Dynasty [in 368 AD]. Tuoba belonged to one of the most powerful clans of the Xienbei tribe.
