A pair of Yokeback Armchairs
The photo shows one of a pair. This pair of armchairs inherits the intrinsic virtue of Ming furniture, where the beauty lies in the perfect scale and proportion of each member. In addition, the overall form, though not round, has an intangible roundness about it that can only be perceived by close examination.

Other characteristics that contribute to the uniqueness of this pair are the gold-lacquered dragonheads carved on the crestrails and the bulbous handgrip terminations on the arms.
